The coastline from Huatulco south to Salina Cruz is mainly comprised of right points that are stacked nearly back-to-back with picturesque beaches hidden in between. Each of these sand-bottomed points has its own character. There is a point to suit every style of surfer from the tube enthusiast to shortboarders and longboarders. The bulky headlands and curves of the coast allow for different waves to work on different winds making it rare to find undesirable conditions. The waves around Salina Cruz are true gems.  Due to poor dirt road conditions that spider-web to the coast with no posted signs, and often the need to drive on the beach, makes reaching any of these waves without a guide and 4x4 vehicle extremely difficult, if not impossible. The season in this particular region of Mexico is April through October when the south swells consistently correspond with favorable, or at least workable, wind conditions. We have decided not to name any of the specific breaks in this area, but are certain the photos will be enough to convince you the quality exists!
