1. Choose your destination

Choosing a destination is sometimes simple and other times more difficult. Some passengers know exactly where they want to go, and when; others only know that they need a surf trip but are not sure to where or when. In either case our website provides vast amounts of information on various products including seasonality and pricing. However, to be certain you are making the best decision for your needs we strongly recommend you get on the phone (or email) with one of our agents. A few of the most important questions you will be asked to narrow in on the best location for your specific requirements are:

What time of year do you wish to travel?

What type of surf are you looking for? Heavy/Hollow vs. Fun/Performance – Rights vs. Left etc…?

What type of board do you generally ride? Short vs. Long

What level/style of accommodations do you prefer? Land based vs. Yacht based - Luxury Resort vs. Basic clean & comfortable

Will you be traveling alone or with a group? If with a group, how large and what type of group? A few friends all surfers vs. mixed group with non surfers

What length of time do you have to complete your trip including travel days? 5 days, 7 days, 9 days wanting to utilizing the weekends or open to 14 nights +

From what city will you be departing?

2. Request a Package

Once you have decided on a destination it is time to place a request which can be done by phone or by submitting a "Trip Inquiry" utilizing the link below. When the request is received one of our agents, knowledgeable in your destination of choice, will follow up with a written proposal detailing all aspects of the package including travel dates, specific airline itinerary if applicable, type of accommodation, all inclusions and payment detail.

Our general policy will require a non refundable deposit per person within 7 days of WaterWays providing a full confirmation for all aspects of the travel package. Deposit amounts vary depending on the package, ranging from $200 to 50% per person. Packages requiring a larger deposit often only make a portion of this deposit fully non refundable.

Final payment is generally due 60-90 days prior to departure. One or two of our most highly demanded properties require full payment even further in advance. For bookings made inside of 60 days full payment is required within 7 days of confirmation.

These payment timelines are “in general” and we are often able to work with passengers on payment terms that may be more flexible.

3. Forms and Payment
Each passenger traveling with WaterWays must complete a BOOKING FORM.  This form provides us with critical information to make sure your trip goes off without a hitch as well as being a general release of liability stating “Surfing is inherently a dangerous sport and you are participating of your own free will…….”  We will get you there, but it is up to you to know your limits, and even given those limits you never know what may happen in the water.

Payment can be made by cash, personal check, wire transfer, credit or debit card.  The prices reflected on our site are discounted for payment by cash or personal check.  Should you wish to pay by debit or credit card there will be a 2.5% surcharge added to cover processing.

Our “online” payment processing is currently not active, in the mean time you can call in your credit card details over the phone, or complete the secure attached credit card authorization form and send back to our office by email, standard mail or fax to 310 584 9800.

Confirmation of all payments in conjunction with your holiday will be sent in a timely manner.  Final trip documents including a full day-2-day itinerary, paid in full travel vouchers, foreign and domestic 24 hour emergency contact numbers, travel insurance policy, baggage tags, customer satisfaction survey and airline tickets when applicable will be sent approximately 21 days prior to the scheduled trip departure date.  Documents will not be sent until we receive your signed and completed booking form.
